Welcome!

Hey, thanks for checking out my Electronic Breadboarding class!

For all class details, please see the “About” page… 😉

I think we’re going to have a blast during this course! Are you curious about what electronics is, and how electronic components work? Would you like to learn how to make a miniature computer chip do what *you* want it to do?

Modern micro-controllers are as or more powerful than the room-sized computers that existed when I began my career in electronics almost forty years ago. If you can imagine a control or a timing function, you can probably figure out a way to make a fingernail-sized chip perform that task for you. Take this course, and you’ll start to understand the basics of how these things work, and how to put them to work for you.

If you join my class, we’ll start you out with the simple basics of circuits, components, voltages, and currents. But we won’t stay there for long! Bring your ideas with you! We’ll help you evaluate your ideas and you will soon be able to figure out for yourself whether or not you can make what you hope to.

To get you started, we’ll have a few “example projects” for starters; you’ll be able to try out one or more of them and see for yourself just how hard or easy it is to do some practical real-world tasks with a micro.

So, what do you say? Give electronics and micros a try?
